Salisbury Recreation Commission Indoor Walking Club
 
The indoor track at the Hotchkiss School is open to the public on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 8:00-10:00am for walking and jogging.  The fee is $2.00 per session of use which can be paid at the door.  All walkers are asked to carry walking shoes into the building and change before entering the track.  Street shoes are not permitted on the track.  Program dates are Nov 1, 2011 through March 31 2012.  Contact Lisa McAuliffe for further information at 860 435 5186 or email recreationdirector@salisburyct.us
 
GUIDELINES FOR TRACK USE
1. STREET SHOES SHOULD NOT BE WORN ON THE TRACK.  PLEASE CARRY WALKING SHOES INTO THE BUILDING AND CHANGE OUTSIDE OF THE TRACK.

2. PLEASE SIGN IN AND OUT EACH DAY OF USE

3. WALK IN THE SAME DIRECTION AS THOSE ALREADY ON THE TRACK.  TRACK SHOULD CHANGE DIRECTION EVERY 15 MINUTES.
COUNTER CLOCKWISE 8:00-815, 8:30-8:45, 9:00-915, 9:30-9:45
CLOCKWISE 8:15-8:30, 8:45-9:00, 9:15-930, 9:45-10:00

4.SLOWER WALKERS SHOULD US THE OUTSIDE LANE AND ALLOW THE INSIDE LANE TO BE USED FO JOGGERS AND FASTER WALKERS.
