Draft Regulations for Referral
In accordance with Connecticut General Statutes 22a-42a(b) the Inland Wetlands & Watercourses Commission (IWWC) shall provide a copy of proposed regulations and notice of hearing for adoption to the Commissioner of the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) at least 35 days before such hearing. On April 3, 2025 a memorandum including the 04/01/2025 Draft Regulations and proof of Lakeville Journal hearing notice were electronically submitted to DEEP.
Additionally, a copy of such proposed regulations shall be filed in the office of the Town Clerk for public inspection at least ten days before such hearing. On April 3, 2025 the proposed regulations were filed with the Salisbury Town Clerk.
Public Hearing
On Monday May 12, 2025 at 6:35PM via Zoom, the IWWC held a public hearing to consider comprehensive amendments to the Inland Wetland & Watercourses Commission Regulations of the Town of Salisbury. At this hearing interested persons listened to & spoke on the matter. Written comments were also submitted. A recording of the hearing is available to view here.
